Here's how to get started with your application

Find out your course code

If you haven't already, visit the CDU Course Finder to get information on your chosen course, such as course codes and study options.


Register with SATAC

Most Higher Education applications for CDU go through the South Australian Tertiary Admission Centre (SATAC), so the next step to get your application underway is to visit the SATAC website, click on either 'Undergraduate' or 'Postgraduate', and then click on 'Apply' to register.

Once you have completed your registration, SATAC will send you an email with a link to access your online application.

Complete your application

Follow the link in the email from SATAC to complete your application, and remember to save your progress after each section. Although SATAC can access most of your study records, but if not they might request further information from you. To be considered in the main offer round there are key dates you should be aware of.

Accept and enrol

If your application is successful, you'll receive your offer via email from CDU. After you have accepted your offer, we'll send you instructions on how to enrol in your units via email.

Flexible entry

If you don't meet the entry requirements for your chosen degree, our free Tertiary Enabling Program gives you entry to most undergraduate courses and equips you with the study skills and knowledge to succeed at university.

Application docs

You might need documents to support your application. SATAC can access most study records, but they may need to contact you to request:

  • High School Certificate
  • Certificate of completion for courses completed since high school



Admission centre processing fee:

  • $35 For year 12 Students (2017 completion)
  • $75 For all other applicants commencing 2018
  • $130 Late fee for applications received after 29 Sept

Fees must be paid before an offer will be made. You can pay online with a credit card, at any post office or by mail.

Already completed a course at CDU? There are no processing fees or late fees with MyNextCourse.
