Graduate Diploma in Public Health

Graduate Diploma in Health Research

With a Graduate Diploma in Health Research delivered in partnership by CDU and Menzies, you'll develop your knowledge in health research design and build upon your advanced skills in interpreting health information, epidemiology, statistical methods and qualitative research methods.

You can select specialist electives from the public health practice, Indigenous health and global health streams.

Upon successful completion of this course, you are able to enrol in the Master of Public Health which can be completed through a research project or a further four coursework units.

This Master of Public Health course, delivered in partnership by CDU and Menzies, will further develop your understanding of public health practice to health policy, health systems and healthcare decision making.

You'll extend your public health skills to an advanced level in:

  • understanding public health issues and strategies

  • quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
  • designing and evaluating public health interventions aimed at prevention, protection and promotion of health in the community
