An arts degree encourages you to explore life; it is a path to the person you want to become. As an arts student, you get to create your learning experience around your interests.

You will develop your written and oral communication skills in Humanities and Social Sciences disciplines and can specialise in History, Literary Studies, Languages (Greek, Chinese and Indonesian), Political Science or Sociology.

Bachelor of Arts (Honours)

CDU’s Bachelor of Arts (Honours) prepares you for research and postgraduate programs in Humanities and Social Sciences. You'll extend your knowledge of interest in a specialised research thesis.

The course provides you with advanced understanding and critical evaluation of aspects of human society, its history, culture, political development, and diversity. It offers opportunities, in particular, to study Northern Australian and Southeast Asian societies.

Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws

This combined degree equips you with the skills necessary for humanities and social sciences in conjunction with legal education for the practice of law.

Throughout the arts studies, you will develop your academic skills in the humanities and social sciences, including history, political science and literary studies. You will prepare for research training at honours and postgraduate level.

During your legal studies, you will develop the knowledge for the practice of law and explore areas of the legal system and legal principles, and cultivates a capacity for legal research, analysis and communication.

Associate Degree of Indigenous Languages and Linguistics
